My Engagement

When I went to California for my best friends wedding, the other thing in store was a guy named Trevor Morin. We grew up going to Primary together since we were kids, then I moved away to Utah right before middle school. It had been almost 12 years since we talked, except for a few times on Facebook. When he saw that I was going to be in California, he asked if we could get together and catch up, so we did. We had such a good time talking about what we've been doing and had an immediate connection. We did the whole long distance thing and I'll admit it was quick, but when you know, you know. And on October 17th, he asked me to marry him! I am so lucky that I get to spend time and all eternity with such a great man.

Trying to trick me with a package...yeah right. You can't fool me.

HAWAII!!!

My dad finally returned from Iraq in August, so to celebrate, we got away from the world and just spent time together as a family...in HAWAII! It was such a great trip and so nice to know that my dad was home for good.
Still so in love.

They pulled Nicole and I up to dance, so we did.

Then my dad decided to join in.

July 2009

My best friend got married this summer! I got to go out to California to be there for her special day. We always talked about when we were little, so it was so fun to have it happen. Little did I know, something else was in store for me that weekend.

The day before we got pampered up.
Of course, it's not a trip to California without In-n-Out.
Here she comes down the isle.

A Family Reunited

June was a great month for our family. My father returned home for a visit from Iraq. I came to visit from Florida, my brother Ian and his family moved back to Utah from Alaska and my brother Jared and his family were moving from Utah to Oregon. So, for one short week, we got to have all of the family reunited before some of us had to leave again. It was great to be with all my loved ones.

Here I am with Kyler and Alexia.
Kennedee, Rowan and I had fun playing around.
And Brendan...he's just crazy.

My first post

After a while of thinking about it, I finally decided to start a blog. I have been a little lazy in my journal entries, so I thought maybe this would help keep track of my oh-so exciting life (sense the sarcasm). But really, a lot has happened in a short while, things that should definitely be documented. So hopefully I will be able to catch up on everything here soon.
