This is actually Trevor, so if there is something miss-spelled, and or bad grammar, you can blame me and not my wife. I just wanted to get on and let everyone know how much she means to me on her birthday...
The story that I'm sure most of you know, is that we went to Primary together when we were little, and I always had a HUGE crush on her. If only I would have known then what I know now about this girl, I would have tracked her down much sooner! I am sooooooooo grateful to have such an amazing girl as my wife, and I couldn't be more happy with the mother of my perfect daughter. She is so kind, and she really is the best mommy in the world! Anyone who knows her, knows that that is true! I am so grateful I believe in and know that my marriage with her is eternal, because thinking about ever parting from her is like ripping my heart out of my chest. I wish I could be as good as a husband to her, as she is a wife to me. She is so easy to love, and she is sooooooooooo beautiful it is ridiculous. Who would have known that a 5 year old could pick the perfect spouse, but I knew it then, : ) and I know it now.... Christina Ann is PERFECT! Thank you for reading my rant on how amazing my wife is! I am one lucky guy!!! I love you soooooo much Baby Girl, thank you for making me the happiest man in the world.

Nine Months
How can it be that Kaia Jean is 9 months already?! It literally blows my mind.
At 9 months:
*Weighs 17 lbs 7 oz
*28 inches
*She sits in highchairs at restaurants and sits in shopping carts instead of being in her car seat.
*Does really good at eating table/bite sized food.
*Ate what we had for dinner the other night which was curry! She was inhaling it. It made Trevor so proud.
*Doing good at feeding herself.
*SO close to crawling. She has just been scooting, then all of a sudden, today she was so close to doing it.
*Waves "Hi".
*Does Pat-a-cake like a pro!
*Is starting to throw some major tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants right away. Especially mommy and daddy's phones.
*Her top left, front tooth is breaking through.
*Has become a huge momma's girl lately!
*Tells "secrets". She'll come close to you and start making whisper noises.
*She is an extremely social baby. Loves to interact with other babies/kids and will bust up laughing at every little thing they do.
*So flexible! She will sit in all 3 splits...that's my girl!
*Too good at using our iPhones. She has called family, text her aunt and has turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Heaven help us when she's 3 or 4.
*She is just too funny. She fake cries and laughs. When she gets excited it looks somewhat like the 3rd picture, and she gives you a scolding look when someone does something she doesn't approve of. She keeps us laughing.
***I love you, my beautiful Princess! I just cannot get enough of you! I have been so lucky to get to spend quality time with you, with no distractions and I am cherishing every moment. I love getting to be with you as you try and learn new things. Thank you for being my very best friend (and daddy too)! I couldn't ask for a better buddy to spend my time with. You're the best and I love you!

Eight Months
My silly billy girl is 8 months now!
At 8 months:
*Eats pineapple, mango, blueberries and green beans.
*Throws her head backwards after she takes a bite.
*Plays a new spitting game too after she takes a bite.
*Tried chocolate ice cream. I think we'll be buying a lot more ice cream than we already do.
*Also tried daddy's soda.
*Went from side sleeping to tummy sleeping. She loves to sleep on her stomach! Sometimes it's the only way she'll fall asleep.
*Says "dada" and "baba". Uh, what about "mama"?
*Starting to cuddle way more than she used to, which makes us so happy.
*This girl has developed quite the personality. She is such a hoot!
*Her new thing is to squint the bottom part of her eyes and fake cry. You can't help but laugh when she does it.
*She makes so many funny faces each day and knows she's being funny.
*I think that she is going to be a very social girl. She loves to be around people and laugh with them.
*She scoots all around, but mostly backwards.
*Loves dogs. She loves them on TV, she loves our friends dogs, but she mostly loves her puppy Khan.
***Hi sweet stuff! You are doing a very good job at making mommy and daddy laugh every single day. I think you know what you're doing and know how to lighten the mood. You are so active and learning and growing so much. I feel like within a month, you have changed so much. You are still our very sweet princess, just a silly one now. Thank you for taking us on this fun ride. I love you!!!

Fourth of July!
Happy 4th from this American beauty!
We had a fun fourth this year. We spent the day at the park and enjoyed all the vendors and making fun of the band (they were just bad). Then we checked into our suite at Pechanga, left to go watch the fireworks from our car up this hill, which is the way to do it. You could see everything, you can't hear them going off, so Kaia slept in her car seat the whole time, and it was kind of romantic. Then we enjoyed the rest of the time at Pechanga,. I miss Utah's forth festivities, but this was a fun year too!

Zoo with some new friends.
We recently became friends with these awesome people in our ward. They have a little girl a few months older than Kaia and she is so cute! We've loved getting to know them and hanging out. Their parents came into town and so we took them to the zoo with our passes and did we have a good time! His dad is a funny man. Plus, they are a family of hunters, so they knew a lot about the animals. No better company to spend the day with.
Looking at the gorillas booty!
She was all about daddy's soda!
I love this sweet girl of mine!
Is she not so cute?! I love her hair!
This bear was putting on quite the show for us.
These foot massagers are a must every time we go.
There were two little cubs and one would not leave its mother alone. It was the cutest thing to see them play.
This is the life! If you can't tell, his arms are folded, feet crossed and relaxing while listening to the waterfall.

Seven Months
Isn't she just the cutest 7 month old you've ever seen?!
at 7 months:
*Officially a sitter! It makes everything so much easier.
*Her two front bottom teeth broke through.
*Eating puff snacks, which comes in handy when we're running errands.
*She hardly drinks her bottles anymore. We waste so much formula, so we will giver her less at a time and when we do, that's when she drinks like crazy! Silly girl.
*She loves to sleep on her side just like mommy and daddy.
*Can completely hold her own bottle! That is so convenient!
*Got her first pedicure!
*Is the newest client of a modeling agency and has an agent. She's big stuff.
*When she gets excited, she stiffens everything perfectly straight out, opens her mouth, circles her wrists and ankles and shakes. It's pretty funny.
*Went on her first road trip to Utah.
*Is completely obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
***My beautiful girl, you are just perfect! I love everything about you! I'm pretty sure Heavenly Father sent us one of his finest creations. You are more than we could have ever hoped for. I love how sweet you are to everyone around you. I love you so much sweet girl, and I hope your daddy and I can always show you that.
Disneyland!
We finally renewed our Disney passes after months of not having them. There was no point to do it right away since I was recovering from Kaia's birth. But, now we are all good to go and have until next spring to enjoy the happiest place on earth. We have already gone 3 times with Kaia and it is so much fun. I remember one of my last days working at Disney World, I was SO sad to be leaving. In between shows, my friend and I took a quick stroll down Main St. I saw all these families with their kids of all ages and all I could think of was how, yes, I was devastated to leave, but how excited I was that I was going to get married, start my own family and one day that would be me with my family strolling through Disney as a guest and see Disney through my children's eyes. It's so crazy that I'm already in that position and I love every second. Kaia is all Trevor, but so far, if there's one thing she gets from me, it's her love of Disney and it couldn't make me more proud!
First Trip:
Started her first day at Disney with a solid nap.
Our first family Disney picture...
Then Sophie and Brent wanted in on it too!
We got our little nephew to go on Tower of Terror and he loved it!
First time on Pirates.
Being cuddly on It's A Small World.
Watching the parade with Aunt Morgan.
Sophie kept waving to everyone in the parade. She's pretty cute :)
Second Trip:
Watching Disney Jr. Live on Stage and LOVING it!
Third Trip:
Going through Mickey's house, waiting to meet Mickey.
I love her little personality.
Looking at all the animals with daddy on the Jungle Cruise.
They're too cute!
Disney Jr. Live on Stage again.
And, for some reason, she felt like it was more fun to be in the splits position all day. It did make it more fun for us!
That's it for now until fall when we're not blacked out anymore. I can't wait to keep going with her, especially as she continues to grow and learn.
