Kaia's First Christmas

Christmas this year was the best yet! It was so great to have Kaia here to share this special holiday with. I'm all about traditions and I've been so excited to share our family traitions with her and create new ones (although I know she doesn't know right now and won't remember). We would spend the evenings together on the couch watching all the Christmas classics and drinking Mexican hot chocolate, and we spent a lot of time at the mall. Little girl loves to shop! And, she got to meet Santa for the first time!

Kaia all ready to meet Santa!

We love this picture. Worth the $25 we had to pay! We couldn't scan it, so it's a picture of the picture, but it's still the cutest!

We spent Christmas eve morning at Trevor's dads house. It was so fun to be there and the kids got spoiled rotten from Grandpa Morin! (We are missing Addy and Lily due to illness).

We spent Chritmas eve night at home and celebrated with my grandma. Kaia Jean loves her Grandma Jean!

The cutest little Christmas Princess! Her shirt says "Best Gift Ever", and that is the truth!

We woke up bright and early and went to church. Such a great way to really get into the Christmas spirit. Then, we came back home and opened presents with my mom and sister.

Our first family Christmas picture. We just need Khan in it.

All of Kaia's gifts

She spent the whole time opening presents like this :)

We spent the rest of Christmas day at Trevor's moms. We had a great dinner and enjoyed spending time with the family.

Hailey and I. I had been teaching her how to play solitaire on her new "ipad".

It is so great to be with family on Christmas, especially my own, "new" family. One of the best things to happen was to get to skype with my dad while he is overseas. Christmas isn't the same without him here and we miss him so much, so it was nice to at least get to be with him through the computer. Hopefully he can be with us next year. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
